To deliver to the Client a comprehensive portfolio strategy report than could be used to facilitate decision making in particular around establishing new optimal retail outlet locations. The report included recommendations on not only new outlet establishments, but also size (m²) and type of outlet
The proposal was to deliver to the client a proposed blueprint perspective of an optimal national retail portfolio footprint based on the methodologies utilised.
All the respective locations were identified, analyzed, geo-located and plotted.
All the main competitor locations, as defined by the client, were plotted.
Primary catchment areas for each outlet was determined and mapped.
External influencing factors affecting outlet potential were identified and mapped.
Compared and evaluated the respective data for each outlet to recommend required outlet establishment strategies aligned to market potential.
Determined competitor gap areas and current possible cannibalisation of catchment areas.
Analysed competitor footprint, outlet size and locations for comparative benchmarking.
In this specific case study 100 locations were identified for new establishment nationally.
These locations were categorized into three phases of development based on area potential prioritisation
